Antoine D. Jackson serves as the Corporate Development Director-Detroit for Special Olympics Michigan, the state’s premier donor supported nonprofit providing sport training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In this capacity, he leads, develops, cultivates and stewards relationships that raise awareness and supportive dollars for programs that provide athletes a path to empowerment and opportunities to develop physical fitness.
Antoine has worked in the nonprofit sector for over ten years. He was employed with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. There he was responsible for the development of strategic partnerships in support of the organizations mission. During his term with BBBSMD, Jackson, among other things, worked on the ground level to develop the mentoring partnership with the 100, managed the expansion of school based mentoring programs, and the signature 100 Mentors in 100 Days recruitment campaign.
In and around Metropolitan Detroit, Antoine is a recognized member of the clergy, known for his service and advocacy for youth, families and individuals with disabilities. To his credit, Antoine has been awarded the Spirit of Service Award by the University of Phoenix Alumni Association; Michigan Chronicle 40 Under 40, Detroit Public Schools Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and Spirit of Detroit Award.
Committed to service, Antoine serves as a board member of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit, as Treasurer; FIERCE: Female Icons Encouraging Real Concepts of Empowerment, as the only male board member supporting programming for young women; God’s Old School Ministry supporting families and children; and the Michigan Dental Association Foundation. He is a member of Greater Mitchell Temple Church of God in Christ.
A native of Detroit, Antoine graduated from Western International High School and earned his degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He is published author, hybrid-entrepreneur and licensed minister. Most importantly, Antoine is a proud father to his daughter Madison, and loves encouraging and motivating others to live life shining.
