Thomas was raised in Detroit and a proud graduate from Murray-Wright High School, Detroit MI. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force until honorable discharged in 1988. He’s a graduate of Davenport University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Since 1999, he has been working in financial services in various roles including financial advisor and staff manager. He’s currently working for Empower as a Retirement Counselor providing education and support to the employees of Oakland County. In addition to the 100, he’s also involved with BOLD (the Black Organization for Leadership and Development) and VETS (Veteran’s Business Resource Group). He’s married to Sheila with 2 sons.
